Well, the Lord has taught me SO MUCH in the past year and has given me a great burden and desire to share what I've learned--and am learning--with others who may benefit from it.  Though this blog is open to everyone, I will be writing especially to my sisters in Christ.  If you would like to read my blog for more general audiences, you may go to taclovestowrite.posterous.com. 

When I was younger, I never had many older girls whom I could look up to and ask for advice.  There were a lot of things I wondered about and never really had any older girl take the time to invest in me or give me wise counsel.  To you younger girls reading this blog--I hope and pray that I can be someone whom you can look up to and trust for godly counsel.  :)  I'm only a sinner saved by God's grace, but I think that I might be able to be a help to you in some way.  It would be such a privilege to be used of the Lord in that way! 

I made this blog in the spirit of Titus 2.  "That the older women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness...teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."  Though I'm not yet an "older woman" I am an older girl and I think the same could apply to me---that I should be teaching younger girls what is pleasing the Lord.  It is my greatest hope and prayer that I may direct you to the Lord and help you grow closer to Him, and to fufill your glorious, God-given calling in life!  :D
